What a week for the Grattan Line team! We had the pleasure of celebrating the 125th anniversary of IBEW Local 104 at the Omni Hotel in Boston. A big thank you to Business Manager Brian Murphy for the special shoutout to Grattan Line during his speech! On top of that our storm crews have been hard at work restoring power following significant ice damage in the Northeast.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden loss of Line Apprentice Marcus LaPointe, who passed away at the age of 23 in a fatal car accident. Marcus was a dedicated member of our team who had completed the majority of his apprenticeship with Grattan Line. Marcus was an extraordinary young man with incredible talent. His positive energy made him a joy to work alongside and an inspiration to all who knew him. His memory and legacy of kindness will live on in our hearts. Our thoughts go out to his family, friends, and co-workers in this time of grief.

Hurricane Helene ⛈️

Our crews are working diligently to restore power in the Carolinas and Virginia in the wake of Hurricane Helene’s historic damage. Our hearts go out to the people affected by the devastation and we are grateful to be able to mobilize our entire company to provide assistance.

Thank you to all of our employees working in the South!

Additional resources are in enroute to Florida where Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall on Wednesday.
