🚨 Stop! Put the pressure washer down. We see you. 👀
🌼 Pollen season is here, and before you declare war on that yellow dust covering your hardscapes, hear us out…
After 30 years in the concrete business, we’ve learned one thing: not everything needs the full pressure washer treatment. (I know… we were shocked too at first. 😂)
Turns out, there are better ways to send pollen packing without sending your sealer into retirement and your wallet into therapy.
Here’s the safer way to clean your decorative concrete:
🧹 Sweep it away with a broom or leaf blower.
💦 Rinse with a garden hose to wash away loose pollen and debris.
🫧 For stubborn spots, use warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft-bristle brush.
🌿 Keep nearby trees and landscaping trimmed to help reduce future pollen buildup.
🚫 Skip harsh chemicals and excessive pressure washing. Trust us, your sealer will thank you. Because nothing says, “I regret my life choices,” quite like accidentally blasting the color and protective sealer off your decorative concrete. 😬
✨ A little maintenance goes a long way, and periodic sealing and resealing will keep your stamped concrete looking beautiful for years.
We’ve been doing this for 30 years and trust us… we’ve seen pressure washers do more damage than a New England winter.
Not sure if your concrete needs a touch-up or a fresh coat of sealer? Give us a call! No pressure required.
