After 5 years of hearing “when are you going to replace that sliding glass door?”… we finally got it done! 🙌

Out with the old drafty door and in with a brand new vinyl sliding glass door that actually opens without needing a full-body tackle. 😅

The customer was thrilled with the results, loved the upgrade, and said it completely changed the look of the room…

…but then never paid the bill. 🤦‍♂️

Turns out the customer was my wife, so I guess I’ll just add it to my tab along with every other “quick project” around the house. 😂

All jokes aside, the new door turned out great and was well worth the wait!

Another project wrapped up! 💪

This customer had already started their bathroom drywall but needed a hand getting it across the finish line—and that’s where we came in. We finished the drywall work, cleaned everything up, and most importantly matched the existing ceiling texture so everything blends together seamlessly.

Taking over a project mid-way can be tricky, but getting that final result to look consistent like it was all done at once is what we take pride in.

We recently had the pleasure of helping the Maple Valley Athletic Boosters update their fry trailer to make it easier and more efficient when they’re out at events raising money for Maple Valley athletic programs.

This group does so much to support the kids in our community, and we were proud to play a small part in helping them continue that mission. Projects like this mean a lot to us because they help support opportunities for local student athletes.

This laundry room had water damage that ruined the subfloor, so we tore everything out and started fresh.

We installed a new subfloor, put down new flooring, and added a built-in crawlspace access so the homeowners can easily reach plumbing and utilities in the future.

Out with the old drop ceiling and in with a clean, updated look.

In this older home, we removed the existing drop ceiling and reframed the structure to work around the existing plumbing while gaining as much height as possible. By doing this, we were able to raise the finished ceiling by about 5 inches, making the space feel more open and less confined.

We then installed new recessed lighting for better brightness and a modern appearance, followed by new drywall to create a smooth, solid ceiling finish.

These kinds of upgrades make a huge difference in both the look and feel of an older home while working within the limitations of the original structure.

Another bathroom transformation in the books! 🚿✨

We gave this space a full refresh with a brand-new shower, updated vanity, new toilet, fresh flooring, modern vanity lights, and updated trim to tie everything together. The new finishes completely changed the look and feel of the room—clean, sharp, and built to last.

One of the most important upgrades wasn’t just cosmetic. The old exhaust fan was venting straight into the attic, which can lead to moisture buildup and long-term issues. We installed a new exhaust fan and ran a proper exhaust tube to the exterior of the home so all that humid air is going where it should—outside. Proper ventilation makes a big difference in protecting your home.

Old houses always keep things interesting 👌
These stairs were anything but square, so standard trim just wasn’t going to cut it. To get a perfect fit, we made custom templates using yard sticks, dialing in every angle and curve before cutting a single piece of trim.

Taking the extra time to template everything means tight joints, clean lines, and a finished look that feels original to the home—not forced. Details like this are what make old houses shine again.

Another basement stair makeover in the books 🔨✨

We gave these basement stairs a full refresh — tightening things up, fixing and finishing the drywall, and adding fresh paint to brighten the entire stairwell. Simple changes, but a huge difference in how the space looks and feels.

Safer, cleaner, and way more inviting than before. It’s amazing what solid craftsmanship and a little attention to detail can do.
