one of my favorite giants to baby. 58” DBH sugar maple here in leipers fork. this tree could very well be 200 years old and growing when the wagon pulled up to the wagon steps at the street.

you just can’t have a successful day ending with an awesome crane job and not get kissed by the trailer 5 mins before you get in the truck to go home….. i mean it just wouldn’t be right. 🤦🏼‍♂️

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE DOGS! moo moo and brad and their brothers and sisters out there. they are 12 years old!!! i can’t believe it a little grayer a little lazier but still all my babies….. well their bday was like two weeks ago but it dosent matter. everyday is their bday to me.

kind of a bitter sweet afternoon. i dropped off about half of the walnut we removed in nashville milled stacked and stickered. its all been air drying for a couple years now. i had dreams of turning all this into furniture but when we had to move out of the shop two years ago all that went out the window. i have all the tools but nowhere to create. bummer. well at least the walnut found a good home with someone that will make cool stuff out of it. that makes me happy and relieved.

so i bought this sweatshirt last week. i know it’s corny but i have to confess… i am you’re textbook extrovert. but as i’ve gotten a bit older ive started to feel different inside. i’ve taught myself to hold in my emotions and only let them out to just a few people to save face. that would be my face. i struggle everyday with constantly doubting myself of self worth and purpose. a constant second guess that this world would be better off without me. addiction and i hate to say it worse things. sometimes it’s just as simple as giving a stranger a smile a yes sir or mamma and thank you. a simple touch or a wave just might change the course of that persons life. please don’t respond or message this comment. this is not about me or an attempt to acquire pity. this is truly for the person looking at the back of this hoodie. although it be hard often….. be kind to your neighbor. ❤️✌🏻
