🌿 Today was a big day on the homestead! Our Red Bourbon turkey poults got their first taste of life out in the run, and we introduced them to the laying hens. Everyone settled in well as the poults explored, scratched around, and soaked up the sunshine. It's always exciting to watch these young birds gain confidence and enjoy a little more freedom. Looking forward to seeing them grow and thrive together! 🦃🐔☀️

🐔🥚 WE GOT OUR FIRST EGGS! 🥚🐔
After months of raising our girls from tiny chicks, the day we've been waiting for has finally arrived... our laying hens gave us their very first 4 eggs! 🤎✨
It may only be four eggs, but to us, it's a huge homestead milestone and a reminder that all the hard work, early mornings, and care are paying off. We couldn't be more excited for this next chapter of our homestead journey!

Most of this season's garden started with seeds from Baker Creek and Botanical Interests—proof that a little faith, hard work, and good seeds go a long way. 🌿💚

🌾 Day 2 and the final day of the Homestead Festival in Columbia, Tennessee! 🌾
What a great weekend of learning, meeting fellow homesteaders, and gathering new ideas to bring back to the homestead. We're heading home inspired and ready to put some of these ideas into action!
