Redid hardwood flooring in our house!

Back hallway makeover almost done. I just need to seal.it with some polyurethane.wainscot is reclaimed hardwood floor floor planks antique heart pine from 1830's came from a old bank building in downtown natchez.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel yay . I installed new floors and new trim top middle and bottom and a new wainscot along with new thresholds everything is milled sanded and burnt or stained .the kitchen is almost done except to hang an over the range microwave and a mosaic woodwork art piece above the sliding patio doors. The wife is happy so I am happy almost time to start the next room. I don't have many before pictures but here is a few

Most people only see what's on the outside. But it's what's on the inside that really counts. 100 yr old flooring from downtown natchez it's either heart pine or cypress either way it's beautiful on the inside.

Finally done yay.from a pile of scraps to something beautiful just because something is stained or ugly on the outside doesn't mean there isn't something great on the inside. You just have to cut away all the crap first.true story me and these scraps have alot in common
