Natchez UTH Flood 2011 The 2011 flood preparations and its aftermath in Natchez, Mississippi Until this time the previous highest recorded river level at Natchez, was 58 feet.

On April 30, 2011, NOAA predicted a higher flood level (65 feet) for the Mississippi River at Natchez, Mississippi, than ever recorded. At the predicted flood level of 65 feet the river would flood all but two of the historic buildings on Silver Street along the low lying area next to the river called, "Under The Hill". This page will document preparations for this flood and its aftermath.
