Large Hive Found Inside Irrigation Box

This was another late-night bee removal done for safety reasons. The hive was inside an irrigation box right next to a sidewalk where a lot of people walk by, so we handled it at night when foot traffic was lower and the bees were settled in.

Finding the irrigation box in the dark was the first challenge. We used an infrared / thermal camera to locate the heat signature from the active hive inside the box. The thermal image showed exactly where the bees were clustered, making it safer and faster to pinpoint the problem area.

Large Hive Removed from Water Meter Box

Late-night bee removal on this one for safety reasons. This large active hive was inside a water meter box in an area where a lot of people walk by, so we handled the job at night when foot traffic was lower and the bees were settled in.

🐝 Large Hive Removed From Tree — 12 Feet Up!

Today Victory Bee Removal safely removed a large, established honeybee hive from a tree about 12 feet high. The bees had built exposed honeycomb deep inside the branches, so we carefully accessed the hive, removed the comb, and relocated the bees without using chemicals.

Bee fact: Honeybees can build exposed comb in trees, bushes, walls, roofs, and other protected areas when they find a safe place to grow. Once honeycomb is present, it’s important to remove it properly because leftover comb can attract more bees, ants, wax moths, and other pests.

🐝 Another successful live bee relocation by Victory Bee Removal!

Today we safely removed a large honey bee swarm that had clustered underneath a decorative agave plant. Swarms like this can look intimidating, but they’re usually just searching for a new home.

🌼 Interesting Bee Fact:
When a swarm leaves a hive, about half of the colony travels together with the queen to search for a new home. During this time, honey bees are often less aggressive because they’re focused on protecting their queen and scouting a safe place to live.

🐝🪵 Huge hive removal from the side wall of an old shed scheduled for demolition.

Once we opened the wall up, we found multiple layers of dark brood comb, fresh honeycomb, and a well-established colony hidden deep inside the structure. These bees had likely been there for a long time.

Before demolition started, we safely removed the live bees and cleaned out the comb to help prevent honey leaks, odors, and future pest problems.

A lot of old sheds, barns, and abandoned structures become perfect homes for bee colonies because they provide protection from weather and predators.

This colony decided to build an entire hive INSIDE an old tractor tire hidden under debris. 😳
We carefully removed multiple layers of honeycomb, brood, and stored honey while relocating the live bees safely and chemical-free.

We safely removed this small hive from inside a valve box before it could continue growing and cause bigger problems underground. During the removal, we found fresh comb, active bees, and the queen surrounded by her workers protecting the colony.
