It is with great pain and sadness that I share with you that on September 28th John W Graham took his own life. John was a kind, brilliant man who would never question putting others before himself. He had a great love of the ocean and boats and in his work he treated every customer’s boat as if it were his own. A small memorial get together, to honor John’s life, will be held at Pier32 Marina in National City on October 24th, from 4-5pm. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask you make a donation to the attention deficit disorder association in John’s name https://add.org/donate .

Installing a pair of M1AR Maretron Fuel Flow Sensors in differential mode. I didn't have any if my work lights nor a headlamp with me. I did have a few Cyalume chem light SnapLights with me. They work awesome.
Differential Mode measures the fuel flow rate of the supply and the return line, while sensing the temperature of each in real time via Maretron's Fuel Flow Monitor 100 (FFM100) to which each of the M1AR sensors connect. The FFM100 then connects to the vessel's N2k network via an N2k interface. The real time temperature monitoring of the fuel in the supply and return lines accounts and compensates for expansion of the fuel as temp increases. By monitoring the temp of the fuel in real time it goes a step further than other fuel flow sensors providing for the most accurate fuel flow measurement.

This was a very humbling opportunity, and a huge honor. This was ABYCs (American Boat and Yacht Council's) final printed media of their π˜™π˜¦π˜§π˜¦π˜³π˜¦π˜―π˜€π˜¦ π˜—π˜°π˜ͺ𝘯𝘡 magazine. ABYCs π˜™π˜¦π˜§π˜¦π˜³π˜¦π˜―π˜€π˜¦ π˜—π˜°π˜ͺ𝘯𝘡 is a bi-annual Industry Technical publication which is created and written by ABYC staff. Thanks to Kevin Scullen and ABYC for this opportunity. I'm most grateful for this and all of the awesome people at ABYC. Thank you!

Coming out of the engine room after putting boat thru testing. The owner was slowing down the boat after going at a pretty good speed, scared the crap out of his son's girlfriend and her friend. .marine

Testing my ACR PLB. Test 1 of 2. I'm embarrassed to say how long it's been since I tested it but have worn it on my lifejacket Everytime I'm on the water, assuming it was ok. I also was about 3 years late with reregistering it with NOAA. It's all good. The second test is a longer test and confirms the PLB is able to transmit to satellite and confirms receiving the transmission. Kinda important to do. It's good. My dog chewed the tip of the antenna. Still works awesome great safety gear to have, and hope you never have to use it.

Very cool Island Gypsy Trawler. I wroked on this boat all day long and as I was getting ready to leave I hit my head so hard on the entryway it knocked me out. Im not gonna lie it hurt and after having a pretty serious concussion from wakeboarding, it really scrambled my brain. It felt like someone hit me with a baseball bat. Didn't even see it coming. I'm a mess sometimes. Lol.

Fishing at sunset.I came across this pic of me on my last boat, at a lake in Eastern Washington. It was I think around 11 years ago. Just recently I had my 10 year anniversary for being clean. A lot has happened since this picture and now. If I only knew what I had in store for me. It's been a hell of a ride.
And still is.
I am grateful.
