In rememberance of 15 years of our countries Mourning. I dont wanna discuss about how a bunch of terrorists with box cutters or a conspiracy theory about a shadow government of 911.
We all remember our elders talking about where they were, when Kennedy got shot...as do we remember every second of that day when America was attacked.
I was on a pipeline job in Newark, and will never forget the quietness of my coworkers shock, or the neverending black smoke that trailed away from the once stood world trade center towers.
i would like this post to be encouraging and not despairing. Some of the uplifting things that i lived while our country was in a time of hurt and crisis...Here we go....;.LETS ROLL.
1. Tens of thousands of people on the shoulder of the NJ turnpike waving flags and cheering to all volunteers, police, fireman, and other EMS heading to Ground Zero.
2. Most of the worlds countries paying their respect and offering support in our time of need,
3.Millions of volunteers, celebrities chipping in like money was no option.
4.Brotherhood, like my grandmother told me about...Pearl harbor she always boasted about how this country pulled together....example: our work truck broke down NJTP. We had seven people stop and offer assistance;one driver even offered us his spare tire.
5...Everyone driving around with American Flags on there car antennas, or whatever means they could do to uplift morale and patriotism.
6. FLIGHT 93...LETS ROLL.. God bless your courage and sacrifice.
7.The appreciation of having family and friends to hug and support each other in a time of desperation.
8 Mayor Rudy Giuliani.....well as far as politicians Ive observed in my life time...Hes my George Washington.
A true leader,
In observance of our mourning...Thank you to all the police, fireman, EMS, volunteers and service dogs that were killed in the line of Duty. My heartfelt prayers to there family and friends.
The soldiers that have fallen in the pursuit of justice and there families.
In my home town West Deptford NJ...its more personal to the class of 97. Nick Brandemarti. Gone but not forgotten...
IN CLOSING...
When this country is in a dire need , Ive seen it pull together.
So today on 911..
"What Lives Matter" Red, White, and Blue Lives Matter.
God bless The USA
