This type of service call is becoming a weekly occurance. We urge everybody to know who you are inviting into your home for a repair. Our staff will show up in clearly marked trucks and wearing company shirts. If you see something else and the tech can't even tell you his company address then BUYER BEWARE! There is plenty of business out there, no need to scam customers, we prefer the happy customers!😁

I had the pleasure of experiencing excellent customer service and outstanding technicians who repaired my garage door when several hinges broke from Hendershot Door Systems.
In addition, the technicians fixed a previously botched job detailed below, by another company! Thank you!! Both technicians were awesome! Folks use local businesses!

I had a similar incident this past winter when several hinges broke on my garage door.
I called a 24 hr emergency repair service "Garage Door Repair 24/7" assuming it was a local business, however it was a call center who dispatches whoever was available.
The technicians who arrived told me that I needed to replace all the rollers, springs, shaft, shaft brackets and hinges.
Hinges were installed upside down, incorrect springs were used for the garage door and calibrated incorrectly, not to mention the repair was over $2,000.
So lesson learned.

It is a changed world and the dishonest and unethical are stalking us all like a roaring lion. We never want to hear that somebody was taken advantage of but we are grateful you allowed us to solve the problem they left you. We are often asked what happens to the old doors or sections we replace. Most of them are recycled but occasionally they can be used for a greater good. Here is a device that was fabricated by and is used by the Palmer Municipal Fire Department to train their personell how to enter a house through a garage door when it can't be opened. Every second matters in such a situation and we are thrilled to help them train to protect us all.

This has been happening more and more in our area. Most recently in Bushkill twsp where a customer thought they were calling us. A man pulled up in an unmarked pickup and even said he was a subcontractor from Hendershot. We do not use subbcontractors and all of our vehicles are very clearly lettered!
We also have the state required license and required insurance, an important consideration before allowing somebody to do any work on your property.
