What is Epic Landcapes?
Epic Landscapes is a local(Nederland), family owned business currently serving Jefferson, Hardin & Orange counties, specializing in high quality landscape design and installation services. What started out five years ago as a small grass cutting business to help get us from career A to career B, has turned into our passion, a desire to make a difference in our area while positively impacting individuals and family’s lives along the way. Epic Landscapes is a married couple’s dream. It’s also our sole source of income. Has it been hard? Absolutely. Have we made mistakes? Yes. While attempting to build a reputable business that we can be proud of, we at times have found ourselves overwhelmed and failed to get proposals out in a timely manner and for that, we are truly sorry. Have we ever wanted to quit? More than once but we refuse to give up on our dream. How do we stay focused? By having a strong faith in God that He will provide, even when the phone isn’t ringing…and with LOTS of prayers.
Here at Epic Landscapes, we hand sketch each and every design. Early on, we looked into a few computer aided design programs and quickly realized that emailing the customer computer generated depictions of what their landscaping MIGHT look like once completed wasn’t near as good as sitting down in front of the customer with a good old hand sketch, drawn to scale, while also providing them with proposed plant photos and actual pictures of some of OUR original designs and installations. Epic Landscapes uses social media as our main form of advertising and we post before and after photos of work that we have done so that there is no question of what we are capable of doing for our potential customers. Epic Landscapes is focused on providing superior customer service, before, during, and well after the sale. Does it bother us when we don’t get a job that we spent hours on preparing a proposal for? Not at all. We know that God is over it all and He will lead us to do business with the clients that He wants us to have in our lives moving forward. Are we the cheapest or most expensive? I would like to think that we are neither. Epic Landscapes uses only the highest quality products in our installations and we attempt to offer a fair price in exchange for high quality work and a finished product that will exceed any and all of our customers expectations. Our prices cover product costs and employee labor, while also helping provide the basic needs for our family. In closing, It is our mission here at Epic Landscapes to be the landscape company one calls when they are looking for quality, honesty, transparency, and loyalty. Thank you to all who have chosen us in the past and we look forward to growing our Epic family as we move forward.
