(Formally Zimmerman Farm Supply of Minden) was started as a Farm Supply, livestock feed and farm construction company in 1963 by Kevin Zimmerman’s father Jerry Zimmerman. After graduation at Tri Center High School, Kevin attended Iowa Western Community College
graduating with an Associate
’s degree in applied Science in Electronics. Kevin worked three years with a large Omaha Based scale company, traveling, installing, welding, fabricating, wiring, servicing and pouring concrete foundations and pads for all sizes and variations of pallet, truck and rail scales. In 1989, Jerry and Kevin formed a partnership in Zimmerman Sales and Service Inc. and based the business in Neola Iowa. With this move to Neola, it gave them a larger business location to run their operation. Although, through the years, they have phased out the livestock feed and the grinding operation. Zimmerman Sales still specializes in offering a full sales and service of Grain Bins, legs, buildings, electrical and concrete work from remodels to new construction. They have always stood by our long time motto, “We service what we sell.”
Kevin and Paulette have since bought the
business and manage all aspects of the business for all your grain bin, building, concrete, pivots and electrical needs. Kevin and Paulette have two sons. Kyle is a Elementary Music teacher in the Northern Kansas City School district and after graduating at Iowa Western, Wes is working full time as our Operations Superintendent. Kevin has an Iowa Master electrical and Plumbing License. We also have a full line of boom trucks, trenchers, backhoes, portable welders, man lifts, skid loaders, forklifts, and cranes to complete all your grain bin, building, electrical, and concrete needs.
