A few weeks ago I posted on this project and today I fixed the sloppy work the other HVAC person did. New insulated ductwork and condensation drain. They also didn’t put the correct stat on for the system and didn’t install the heat strips. I’ll get those fixed for them at a later date due to cash flow. They are good for now!!!! I have a new slogan

Sloppy HVAC of the day from yesterday.
Customer was screwed over by a Carthage HVAC company. Ran single wall pipe outside and didn’t insulate it and put flex duct on the button of the supply side. The return was pulling air from outside and not hooked up to pipe coming out of the wall. The customer purchased flex duct and hooked up the return and purchased insulation and wrapped it the best he could. They also installed the ducts on opposite side, so the return and supply are on the wrong sides coming to the unit. They also didn’t put a condensation drain on it and didn’t install the heat strips that they charged the customer. I’m going to put ductwork in the correct way and make sure the customer is happy before I leave.
