NOW HIRING:
Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance repair procedures, custodial work and handyman duties.
Summary:
Maintains and enhances the organizations property by maintaining and cleaning all areas of the interior and exterior of properties. Work to ensure building safety, compliance and preventative maintenance standards for all properties and equipment. The employee is expected to work in collaboration with Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment with the Operations Manager’s direction. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed maintenance workers.)
• Performs preventive maintenance procedures on a scheduled basis
• Inspects buildings for maintenance needs
• Provide handyman duties on how to replace or repair doors, door locks and closets; install flooring, sheetrock, plumbing, electric etc.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times
• Preform duties based on the financial goals and oversees the assets in best interest of the organization within the budgetary limits with prior approval
• Follow procedures and systems within company guidelines to ensure an orderly, efficient workflow
• Assist Facilities Manager to monitor and analyze facility needs to be able to give up-to-date and proper information when requested by others
• Comply with time management system to keep up-to date record of attendance.
• Maintain all properties’ appearances and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis
• Comply with all company, local, state and federal safety rules
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirement:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (preferred)
Experience Requirement:
One year of responsible experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good skill in the use of hand and power tools.
Education/Experience Equivalency:
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the one year of the minimum experience requirement.
Additional appropriate experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirement.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• This position will be located at properties in Nephi and Santaquin.
• Has the ability to move 10-50 pound items. Walk, sit, stand, bend, lift and move large items and handle stress.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
COMPENSATION:
This is a part-time, hourly position. Hourly wage is commensurate with experience.
