My friend Kurtis Ostrom Photography shot this drone video for me. For the last ten years or so I have been working on transforming my backyard from dense, unusable hill full of blackberry vines, into this beautiful space that I can enjoy any time of the year. I have done all the work by hand, with the occasional help from some local friends and family. It's been a long, exhausting journey, but I'm so proud of the work i have done with this space. Spent a few days on a job in Colfax recently. The customer had a front yard that they wanted refreshed. We added lots of new grasses and low water plants, a few large containers and reworked some existing rock features. I can’t wait to see how their new space looks in a year or so when all the ground cover and grasses have established and filled in the space.
