It's certain that if you get solar you will achieve a lower, stable, predictable energy bill that will cost $700-$2000 less than PG&E in year #1, and that's with no cost to get it installed.! Energy storage is becoming a hot topic these days as PG&E modifies its rate plans to flatter tiers at a higher KWH cost, and Time of Use metering becomes more compulsory.
Solar installed with batteries is becoming more cost effective. The California Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) rebate pays for 1/4 the cost and Federal Tax Credits pay 1/3 of the rest!

Wow! I've been designing and selling solar systems since 2004, and this is IMIPRESSIVE! These Sunpower panels were installed in 2013 and have never been cleaned. My professional solar cleaning company, Clean Solar Pros www.thecleansolarpros.com cleaned this system today. The time my skilled team spent getting this system from dirty to clean was 30 minutes. The cost to the customer was minimal however the production increased by a whopping 30%! In their case that's nearly $300 a year back in their pocket due to increased solar production 👍
