Good afternoon and Happy Friday. I hope you all had a great week and that the weekend holds lots of fun for you. I just realized that again, I forgot to post on Monday. Sometimes the day just gets away from me and I put it on the back burner and there it sits until Friday.... What a weather week we have had. I hope you weren't impacted too much. Some water here in the buildings, which is about normal when it rains hard and the sump pump stops working.. and a bit of water in the basement at home, but nothing damaging. Went to the grandson's final baseball game yesterday in Cambridge and the wind was atrocious. Good thing I had a blanket with me, because it was a bit chilly. I hope you have a fantastic weekend. Good afternoon and Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week. I'm just glad it's Friday. This week has been a crazy one for me, but then again, aren't they all???? The sun is trying to come out, but I know we need the rain, too, just in smaller doses so we don't have any flooding. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and that you get to do something fun. I do know that Scandinavian Days is going on in Story City, so if you don't have anything planned, they will have lots of things going on, I'm sure. And of course the trains as they go by. I had another post ready to go and wouldn't you know it, the internet/phones went down, so I had to start all over again. Oh well. Good afternoon and Happy Friday! I hope your week was a lot better than mine. I did survive despite the power, phone, internet outages, holiday week and statement time. Normalcy will be back at some point, I'm sure. I hope you have a great weekend and that you get to do something fun and outside. Update: still no internet or phones. Mediacom is still working on the lines from our outage yesterday. A truck took out some power lines and transformer and the cable/internet lines yesterday. I saw about 4-5 Mediacom trucks out working on getting things taken care of and putting up new lines. You can still call in and leave messages and you can still email as I can get both remotely via my cell phone. I will get back to you as soon as possible, so please be patient.

Hello everyone. Power is out and phones are down. Not sure when they'll be back on. I guess there are some power lines down near us and they are working on them. Will update when we're back up and running.

Good afternoon and Happy Monday, at least I think it's Monday. My days are messed up as I am trying to get caught up from being out last week. I hope you all had a fantastic week and weekend. Not sure what the weather was like here, but in sunny Florida and Kentucky, it was beautiful. Nice and HOT! I've started the process of transitioning from winter clothes to summer clothes, but it will be a slow process as we are going to only be in the 60's later this week. I will still need most of the jeans for that kinda weather and maybe some long sleeve shirts, too. If you call in and I don't answer right away, please leave a message. I promise I will get back to you just as soon as I can as I'm trying to play catch up on everything. I hope you have a fantastic week and that you get to get out and enjoy some of it.
