Myron Terrain Management

Myron Terrain Management Myron Terrain Management specializes in vegetation overgrowth management. If it's outside and out of control, we can take care of it. We can help! Give us a call.

Are you a property owner or manager with a woods or tree line that has gotten out of control or was never managed properly to start with? Are you a hunter that has walked the same trails for years but they are finally starting to disappear (And just when you bought that new UTV you don't want to scratch up. . .) Are you a farmer with a fence or tree line with limbs that keeps knocking off lights a

nd planter box lids? Or are you just tired of messing with a chainsaw and need some help maintaining your property? Myron Terrain Management specializes in taking control of your land from invasive overgrowth that strangles a healthy outdoor space and limits the overall enjoyment or production of the land. We have the specialized tools and skill set that allows us to quickly and efficiently remove overgrowth in a manner that practically eliminates all damage to the ground surface and surrounding trees. Our method supports the restoration and the preservation of your land. We pride ourselves on working in the space between "two guys, a chainsaw, and a truck" and the large excavation companies that do this work, but don't have the specialized tools or skill sets needed to do it in a manner that both preserves your land and your checkbook! We complete in hours what would take guys with chainsaws a week, and when we are done, there won't be any large unsightly brush piles to burn or 3 ft. deep ruts to fall into--just a beautifully reclaimed space to be enjoyed by all. Because we have these unique tools available and a great team to run them, our value proposition far exceeds that of our competition. We show up on time, get the job done right, and leave you to enjoy your land! Services include but are not limited to:

Small To Large Acreage (1/2-100) Clearing Services
Pasture Reclamation
Food Plot Preparation

A little before and after of a field edge. We were able to take back approximately 15’ over the 2500’ along this fields edge in a little over a day and a half. All stumps removed mulch material ground down and distributed back into the wood line to decompose.

This equates to almost 1 more acre of production land and hopefully will save a few hours of picking up dead limbs and debris along the wood line every time you hit the field.

We can also do full fence row removal as well.

Inputs cost are up. Let us help you maximize every acre. We still have time before spring planting.

Call us today at (502)693-1318.

I wanted to give a quick shout out to Fear Powersports. As some of you know we have been working in Jay and Blackford spraying ditches and right of ways for the counties. As to be expected, I slashed a tire sidewall and needed another one asap.

Ran up to Fear PS and Shawn pulled a tech and had me in a new set in less than 30 mins.

I have never bought a machine from him and yet it he took care of me like I just dropped 50k on a new Ranger. I am certain this experience was not unique to me but the fact that every minute that we’re not running is taking from family time and money, I could not be more grateful.

And if you happen to see us sitting on the side of the road or buzzing across one of your fields, please just know we’re trying to get in and out before the planters come.

We look forward to hearing from you!

We are a small company that requires every individual to work hard and pull towards completion of a common task. If you are young and lack experience but are willing to work hard and learn, we have a place for you. If you are older and still like to work hard, but are looking for something where you don't have to punch a clock and have a boss up your rear at all times, we have a place for you. Don’t know if your right for the job, call me at the above number. This isn’t a short term job, but a place where I want the right candidate to feel challenged and that there is an opportunity for growth.

Myron Terrain Management is hiring-
We are looking for a FULLTIME employee in the Louisville, S. Indiana area and a seasonal PART TIME employee in the Jay County Blackford County area starting immediately running though at least end of May with possible additional add on work for the right candidate.
Pay starts at $21.50 per hour but goes up signifyingly if you have a class a CDL or some other special ability i.e. heavy diesel mechanic, certified welder, or land clearing experience etc...
Below is my rant on who I am looking for-
I pride myself on having built a small team that works to overcome whatever obstacles are placed in front of us and we have worked together for years doing just this. Everyone on my team is a vital member thus we can’t have someone not pulling his or her weight.
We work long days in rough and dangerous conditions and if you only want to sit in a climate controlled cab and listen to podcasts, this is NOT THE JOB FOR YOU. Some days you will be in a cab and then you will be pulling a chain up a 45 degree hill side in 90 degree temperatures to help put a track back on a machine. Zero complaining is a requirement.
Also we do travel extensively at times. IE- we may be working in and around Louisville for 6 months and then may have an out of town job for 6. If you need to be home every night at 5 PM or can’t handle the responsibility of living in a ABNB or hotel this is NOT THE JOB FOR YOU.
It also goes without saying that if you can’t show up on time day in and day out and being without your cell phone is a world ending event, this is NOT THE JOB FOR YOU.
We do not have the time or desire to “babysit” someone who is just here for a paycheck and is watching the clock. The inverse to all of this is that if you prove yourself to be a responsible productive member of the team, this will be one of the easiest jobs you have ever had.
Show up on time, in the right uniform and preform the task at hand to the best of your ability and life will be easy. Don't do these things and you will be looking for another job.
I am open to anyone that is open to learning and growing their skill set. While the posted job requirements above would be nice, I will take someone with healthy work ethic and a desire to learn over someone that is set in their ways and lazy. My end goal is to add another valuable team member for the long haul and continue to grow this business.
