It’s a good idea to periodically check your fixture shut off valves and your main shut off valve. Luckily this leak was caught early, but this bathroom started flooding due to a leak and no operational shut off valves! Get them replaced before it becomes a problem.

Tip from a plumber: If you’re shower head is looking dirty, corroded, or has a lower flow than it used to, you can soak it in vinegar! Taking off the shower head and submerging it in white vinegar for a couple hours can help break down corrosion to clean it up.
