We had the opportunity to replace an existing floor that was delaminating from constant wear and tear, cleaning, and over coating. We didn't anticipate the multiple layers, so our 1 day of prep turned into 2 long days of grinding and an estimated removal of over 500 lbs of ground up floor coatings. Once down to concrete, we were able to apply the base coat and flake at the end of day 2. Day 3 consisted of cleaning up the loose flake and adding a 2nd coat of clear epoxy. We came back later in the day and applied the clear coat. On day 4, the base trims were installed, a thorough clean up and the bathroom was turned over to the owners. We hope the end results speak for themselves; however the grueling hours of prep work are often overlooked when seeing the finished product.
