Stop getting mad in the comments! The great concrete debate is officially ON. Every time I toss those seals aside, half the internet loses their mind, but hear me out—I’m done with imperfect materials. Silicone is the way to go, and I’m tired of pretending otherwise. If you think I’m wrong, you clearly haven’t seen how we actually do things around here. Watch me stir the pot and explain exactly why I’m never picking up a seal again.

The plumbing, electrical, bonding, rebar, and Z-forms are all in place—and this fiberglass pool is ready for the next major step. The Wetscapes team has moved quickly to get everything prepared for forming. Now the structure starts coming together as we get one step closer to the concrete stage.

I’m calling out the worst excuse for professional work I've seen in a while. When you pay for finished concrete, you expect it to be done right, not just dumped on uneven ground. Seeing this absolute lack of pride in the prep work—and the grading being completely ignored—is mind-blowing. If you’re a concrete contractor, do the job right or don’t do it at all! Seriously, stop cutting corners and start finishing the job. What would you do if a crew showed up like this? Let me know in the comments.

Nothing tests my patience like showing up to the job site an hour and a half late, only to have the crew act like they’ve never seen a pool pipe in their life. 😂 Watching the memory loss happen in real-time when the instructions were exactly the same as last time is a special kind of pain. At least the entertainment value makes the chaos worth it!

Ever feel like you’re stuck in an endless loop of “lunch injustice” at the office? 🥗 Because I am officially calling out my coworkers on this double standard! Seriously, how is it that they never offer me a bite of their delicious-smelling meals, but the second I walk in, they're hinting at me to buy lunch? And don't even get me started on the fake nasty look they give my food. The lies! The betrayal! I’m out here fighting for my right to a shared snack. Let’s settle this—who’s right in this office feud?

The fiberglass pool is officially set, and now it’s time to get everything ready for concrete. The Wetscapes team is installing the remaining fittings, skimmer, plumbing, lights, returns, and drain while completing the backfill. Every connection matters as this fiberglass pool installation moves toward the next critical stage. 🏊‍♂️🔧

Rise and shine! We’re officially on the job today, and let me tell you, this pool install is no walk in the park. Between that massive oak tree towering over everything and the absolute nightmare of a terrain with that stump and drop-off, this backyard is testing us already. We’re still debating whether to crane this pool over the house or drag it in the hard way, but either way, we’ve got some heavy-duty retaining walls to build to make it all come together. Stick around to see how we tackle these backyard obstacles—it’s going to be a challenge, but that’s all part of the job.

Learning from past mistakes is the secret to a smooth pour! There is nothing worse than concrete water seeping in and lifting your forms, so I’m locking everything down today. I’m running Zip tape to seal those Z-forms tight—that extra step is a total game-changer for keeping everything secure. A few screws every couple of feet and some reliable tape ensure this setup isn't going anywhere once the concrete hits. Tomorrow is pour day, and I’m ready!

After days of wind delays, the 130-foot crane pick is finally happening! Watch Jonathan and the Wetscapes team carefully set this massive fiberglass pool, get it perfectly leveled, and prepare it for concrete and water. From road closures to precision placement, this is one pool installation you don't want to miss. 🏗️🏊‍♂️
