Sometimes doing a complicated east side house roof that had 5! layers (built 1880) to come off followed by a plywood redeck before the new shingles are installed takes both courage and mountain climbing skills!

Finishing up a beautiful 5 inch profile cedar shingle roof for a well known celebrity. It was a pleasure doing the work. We removed the old roofing and installed new underlayments. The shingles were 5x premium from mills located on the West Coast from forests in Washington State and Canada.

Doing a high profile house currently, with new cedar shingles. I will post photos when we're completed next week. In the meantime we had a good snack on some honey, when we uncovered this honeybee colony under the roof decking as we were doing the tear off. Only got 1 sting! Perhaps they will fly off elsewhere, we will put it in the woods.

Here is a very old 1880 house in Racine overlooking Lake Michigan we re-roofed this fall. I should of taken a photo out of the 50 foot high tower the view was amazing. There was shingles, and a lot of flat roof rubber work. It was an insurance job, it took the insurance company a year to find someone who would do it! I was glad to do it.
