Hello. I’m the Velvet Mite. Sorry I’m so small you almost stepped on me.

I am a "beneficial mite." I keep the soil's microscopic ecosystem in balance so your plants don't get overwhelmed by root-eating pests. I’m your garden’s "nano-security" team.

What to do:
Nothing! Just enjoy the pop of color. I don't bite humans or pets, and I don't eat your plants. I’m just a sign that your soil is healthy and full of life.
