Took the guys out to Top Golf Friday to celebrate an Adios milestone of 1,000 fertilization & w**d control clients!

Jon (left) has been with us for a little over a year and has proven to be a certified dawg! He's customer & service focused and it shows with the results he gets. He's quickly become an integral part of the foundation here at Adios!

Daniel (middle) has been with us for 2 months now and has already established himself as a great asset with his customer service and work ethic. Always willing to go the extra mile with a smile!

All we were missing was Dee! She has been such an important part to our growth in getting everyone signed up and ready to rock. Life would be much more difficult without her help...

I can't wait to see where these 3 help catapult Adios from here!

A big thank you to them and an even bigger thank you to YOU 🫵🏼 for choosing us, sticking with us, spreading the word and making Adios W**ds what it is today!!! Couldn't do it without y'all...

Y’all will start seeing this guy around a little more.

Meet Dash, the new Adios W**ds mascot.
We went with the name because it fits the job…w**ds tend to disappear pretty quick around here. Blink and they’re gone!

Dash just represents what we’re all about at Adios: quick, consistent, and a lawn that looks better every time we leave.

Cooler temps are here (finally!) — and your lawn’s feeling it too.

With fall settling in, it’s time to ease up on the watering — especially for St. Augustine and Zoysia lawns.

A few quick tips to keep things green and fungus-free:
❌ No more high nitrogen fertilizer for the year
💧 Water once on your designated day.
☀️ Stick to daytime watering — avoid evenings and overnights.
🍁 Let the cooler weather do some of the work for you!

Too much moisture on grass blades right now can spark brown patch and other fungal issues, so a lighter touch goes a long way.

It’s one of our nemesis…but there may be a permanent solution just around the corner. Stay tuned!

Noticed tall grass popping up in medians, parks, or even your yard lately? That’s King Ranch Bluestem! 🌱 This fast-growing w**d loves the fall and can shoot up two feet in just a couple of weeks, which makes it tricky to keep up with between mowings.

The good news? Cooler weather is around the corner, and once we get a freeze, this stubborn grass will go dormant until next year. Relief is on the horizon!

🚨 ARMYWORM INVASION! 🚨
We’ve spotted armyworms crawling through town this week (especially in the Manor Creek Area!) and they don’t nibble politely. They pose no harm to humans/pets, but these tiny terrors can wipe out a lawn in just a few days!

🕵️‍♂️ Keep an eye out for:
- Sudden brown patches
- Birds acting like it’s brunch time
- Little greenish-brownish caterpillars scaling grass blades

If you see them, don’t wait — call us right away!
In most cases, treatment costs about the same as your regular service (and WAY less than re-sodding your lawn).

Today, we pause to honor the brave men & women who gave everything in service to our country. Their ultimate sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedom to do what we love — from backyard barbecues to peaceful mornings on the back porch.

We also want to recognize those who served and are still with us — neighbors, friends, and yes, some of our clients too. Thank you for your service, your strength, and your continued presence in our community. Know that we are here for you. 🙏
