Ripped out the cheap plastic box… built it the right way. 💪🏼

This is the kind of shower you see in a lot of 90’s and early 2000’s homes — looks okay at a glance, but it’s only a matter of time before it starts failing… like this one did.

We tore it down and rebuilt it from scratch:
• Full custom tile shower
• Solid bench + niche
• Reworked plumbing with new fixtures throughout
• Tiled the entire floor, including tile baseboard
• New vanity Granite C-top to finish it off🤘🏼

Same space. Whole different level.

No shortcuts. No builder-grade. Just clean work that lasts.

❌Most homeowners never see this… until it’s too late…

When we started demolition on this remodel, we uncovered a significant amount of hidden mold behind the cabinets and drywall!

From the outside, everything looked normal.

But years of trapped moisture created the perfect environment for mold growth behind the walls and in dark places. By the time something like this becomes visible, the damage has usually been building for a long time.

This is why proper demolition and inspection during a remodel matters. You can’t fix a problem you never expose.

Situations like this REQUIRE removing the affected materials, addressing the source of moisture, and properly rebuilding the space the right way.

Homes can hide a lot of secrets behind the walls.

New Braunfels and surrounding Texas areas! We are expecting a large cold front to come in this weekend! How to prepare your home:

✅ Outdoor hose bib covers
✅ Sinks on exterior walls - Open your cabinet doors - space heaters recommended.
✅ Let some water flow through your sinks. Remember 7th grade science, hot water freezes faster!
✅ Turn off all sprinkler systems.
✅ Have water and food stocked.
✅ Roads will be icy! Travel safely.

The last thing you want to have pipes freeze and burst. Enjoy the hot tub or fireplace if you’ve got one!
