The Leaning Pear expansion project is finally complete, and with all the recent Hill Country rains, the outdoor spaces have never looked better. What started as a vision has become a beautiful gathering place that blends thoughtful design, sustainability, and craftsmanship.

One of the most unique elements of this project is the stunning bridge that was carefully transported all the way from Oregon, creating a distinctive focal point that connects guests to the surrounding landscape while honoring the natural beauty of Wimberley.

The expansive new decking, also sourced from Oregon, provides a warm and inviting outdoor experience where visitors can relax, dine, and enjoy the incredible views that make The Leaning Pear such a beloved destination. Every detail of the deck construction was thoughtfully executed to create a space that feels both timeless and connected to its environment.

Sustainability played a major role in the project as well. The permeable parking pavers were specifically selected to support the sensitive recharge zone, allowing rainwater to naturally filter back into the ground rather than creating excess runoff. It's a feature that not only protects the environment but helps preserve the natural resources that make the Texas Hill Country so special.

At Woolsey Design Build, we believe great projects start with great people. A little time away from the job site at Topgolf reminded us just how fortunate we are to work alongside a team that feels more like family.

There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and smiles all around as we spent the day together celebrating the people who make our company what it is. Building successful projects is important, but building strong relationships with our team is what truly sets us apart.

We're grateful for every member of the Woolsey Design Build family and the culture we've created together.
