🏡 Your room might not need a full makeover. It might just need a refresh.

Sometimes the furniture is still right. The layout just needs a little help. Maybe the room feels flat, the colors don't flow, or the finishing touches never quite came together.

A thoughtful refresh can make a surprising difference.

🌿 Rework the furniture layout.
✨ Introduce new colors and textures.
🪴 Bring in natural elements and meaningful decor.
🖼️ Finish the space with art, lighting, and details that make it feel personal.

You don't always have to start over to fall in love with your home again. Sometimes, it's about seeing what you already have in a new way.

Ready to breathe new life into a room? Let's work with what you love and build from there.

Our homes hold so much of our everyday lives. But sometimes, the things we collect, the furniture we keep, and the spaces we don't quite know how to use can leave a room feeling overwhelming.

Simplifying doesn't mean making your home empty or getting rid of everything you love. It's about making intentional choices.

Ask yourself: 🌿 Does this space support how I live? 🌿 Does everything have a purpose or a place? 🌿 Are there pieces I truly love that deserve more room to shine?

A thoughtful home isn't about having less for the sake of less. It's about making room for what matters most.

If your home feels busy but not quite right, let's explore how a more intentional layout and a few thoughtful changes can transform the way it feels.

Wallpaper has a way of bringing a space to life. It can add movement, personality, color, and character in a way paint alone sometimes can't.

From delicate botanicals to bold patterns, the right wallpaper can turn an ordinary wall into the detail that makes an entire room feel finished.

And it's not just about choosing a pretty pattern. Scale, color, lighting, and the surrounding finishes all play a part in making the design feel intentional.

Thinking about adding a little personality to your walls? We'd love to help you find the perfect fit and bring your vision to life. 🌿

A beautiful room isn't necessarily about having more. It's about finding the right balance between color and texture, statement pieces and quiet moments, beauty and function.

Sometimes a room feels almost right, but something is missing. Maybe the furniture feels too heavy, the colors don't quite connect, or the space needs a little breathing room.

Thoughtful design brings all those elements together so your home feels cohesive, comfortable, and uniquely yours. ✨

At The Rooted Home, we believe every piece should have a purpose and every room should support the way you live.

Does a room in your home feel like it needs a little more balance? Let's find what's missing.

At The Rooted Home, we believe great design is about more than pretty mood boards and beautiful reveal photos. It’s about bringing a vision to life—and sometimes that means rolling up our sleeves and getting right into the work! 🎨✨

From painting and plastering to adding texture to walls, installing wallpaper, and creating custom accent features, we’re hands-on throughout the process. We love seeing the transformation take shape, one thoughtful detail at a time.

Whether we’re refreshing a single room or working through a larger project, we bring creativity, intention, and a whole lot of heart to what we do. And yes, you might just find Melissa up on the scaffolding right alongside the team! 😉

Because the magic isn’t only in the final reveal. It’s in the planning, the problem-solving, the hard work, and all the little details that make a space feel uniquely yours.

🏡 Have a vision for your home? Let’s bring it to life together!

A Space Made for Childhood ✨

Some projects stay with you long after the final detail is in place—and this playroom is definitely one of them. 🤍

Looking back at this transformation, it’s easy to see that this was never meant to be just a playroom.
It was designed to be a space where kids could move, imagine, create, explore, and simply be kids. 🌈

What was once an overlooked loft was transformed into a sensory-filled space complete with:
🧗 A rock wall
🐒 Monkey bars
🪜 A ladder swing
🪺 A cocoon swing
📚 A cozy reading nook
🏠 A faux playhouse exterior
🎨 Plenty of color, texture, and personality

Every element was thoughtfully considered to encourage creativity and movement while giving these little ones a space that feels completely their own.

And honestly? This is what we love about design.
A beautiful space is wonderful—but a space that supports the people living in it, encourages connection, and creates room for joy?

That's home. 🌿

So we're taking a little trip down memory lane today and sharing this reveal again. Because some designs are just too good not to revisit. ✨

Warm. Collected. Timeless. Completely inviting.
The goal for this Haven Point bedroom was to create a space that felt comfortable and lived-in while still feeling thoughtfully designed.

We brought together warm terracotta, deep navy, natural wood tones, and soft neutrals to create a palette that feels both grounded and welcoming. From the layered bedding and patterned rug to the statement ceiling and carefully chosen furnishings, every detail was selected to complement the next.

The result is a bedroom that feels like a retreat—comfortable enough for everyday life, but beautiful enough to make you want to linger.

Because great design isn't about filling a room with beautiful things. It's about creating a space where everything belongs. 🌿

What do you think of this color palette? 🤎

Your home isn’t just where you live.

It’s where you slow down, recharge, gather, rest, and make memories. Creating a more mindful home doesn’t always mean a renovation or a complete redesign. Sometimes, it starts with something much simpler—a quiet corner to unwind, natural light filling a room, textures that invite you to settle in, or a space that finally feels like you.

At The Rooted Home, we believe beautiful design should go beyond what you see. It should consider how a space feels, how it functions, and how it supports the life happening inside it. 🌿

Because when your surroundings feel intentional, even the everyday moments can feel a little more meaningful.

What’s one little thing in your home that helps you slow down and feel at ease? 🤎

And if your home has been asking for a little more intention, let’s start with what you already have and build from there.
