We’re currently working on a full open-store remodel at Burlington Coat Factory Stratford, handling all work overnight to keep the store operating without interruption.

Scope includes:
• Swapping out lamps across the entire store
• Upgrading existing fixtures
• Installing new lighting controls throughout
• wiring up a brand new cash wrap

Working in an active retail environment takes coordination, precision, and a team that knows how to get in and get it done right without slowing down operations and that’s exactly what our guys are doing.

Great progress so far, and a great job by the team as always. 💪💪💪

Progress update from 650 Main St, Willimantic 📍

We’re making great headway on this site with both primary and secondary conduit installation moving along exactly how we want it. The crew has been pushing hard, staying organized, and keeping everything on track.

This phase is critical to getting power where it needs to be, and it’s coming together the right way.

Great job to the team as always! Your effort and attention to detail never go unnoticed. 💪💪💪

Another busy day in the field for CE Electrical Contractors 💪

From New Britain to Willimantic to Enfield, we are covering the entire State of Connecticut with over 14 projects running consecutively. Four of those projects are currently focused on underground conduit and new service installs, keeping our crews moving and production at full speed.

Here are some shots from today over at Gale Toyota. Great job by the guys getting the feeders in and ready for inspection and sign off by the city.

Next step is getting Eversource Energy out there to set the transformer and bring permanent power online.

Work is officially underway.

CE Electrical Contractors has begun a major electrical infrastructure upgrade at a large commercial facility in New Britain totaling 580,000 square feet. This building has been operating on 13,800V switchgear dating back to 1968, and we’ve been brought in to modernize the entire system.

Our scope includes the installation of three new 277/480V electrical services
• Two 3000A services
• One 2500A service

This is no small job. We’re talking multiple services, thousands of feet of underground conduit, and a full coordination effort that has been years in the making. From load calculations, to value engineering alongside the electrical engineers, to extensive back and forth with Eversource, it’s been a long road to get here.

Now we’re finally breaking ground.

Once the new infrastructure is installed, we will begin the demolition and proper disposal of the existing switchgear throughout the facility, bringing this property up to modern standards.

This is a major upgrade and a big step forward for the building.

CE Electrical Contractors is excited to announce that we will be handling the electrical work for a new addition at Hoffman Lincoln in East Hartford, Connecticut.

This project includes powering a brand new addition to the building, upgrading the existing electrical service to a new 600 amp service ⚡, and installing a 200 amp temporary service to feed the general contractor’s trailer and support the project during construction.
