⚡ Project Spotlight: Commercial Power Outage Troubleshooting

Yesterday, ONCE was called to a commercial facility following an unexpected power outage.

Our team inspected and diagnosed the facility’s main electrical distribution equipment, including the multi-section switchgear and associated feeders, to help determine what caused the loss of power and identify the appropriate next steps.

Commercial outages can involve much more than a tripped breaker. Troubleshooting a system of this size requires a methodical evaluation of the electrical distribution system to locate the source of the problem safely and efficiently.

⚡️Project Spotlight: Commercial HVAC Controls

Commercial HVAC controls in progress. This setup uses differential pressure switches to monitor low and high pressure conditions within the HVAC system, helping keep equipment operating safely and as intended.

We recently cleaned up an outdated exposed outlet circuit and upgraded the installation with EMT conduit, a new GFCI receptacle, dedicated switch, and industrial-style sconce lighting to better fit the character of this historic event space, in New Castle, DE.

⚡️Project Spotlight: Temporary Power for Commercial Restoration at the Delaware Historical Society in Wilmington.

We were recently called in by ATI Restoration to install a 240V 30-amp GFCI breaker on a three-phase electrical system at the Delaware Historical Society Research Library. This temporary power solution allowed specialized drying equipment to operate safely and efficiently during roof leak remediation.

Every project is different, and we’re proud to provide the electrical expertise that helps keep critical restoration work moving—especially in a building that plays such an important role in preserving Delaware’s history.

Even better: this customer was able to get almost 90% of the project cost covered through Delaware’s Energize Delaware rebate program.

That can include the charger, labor, materials, and permits — making a home EV charger much more affordable than many people realize.
