Life has a way of reminding us not to take our health for granted.

Recently, I had a biopsy done on a spot that had been concerning me. The results came back, and I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. While hearing the word “cancer” is never easy, I’m grateful that it was caught and identified so I can move forward with treatment.

My friends Evan Scott Lindman and Greg Durbin of the Turf Nerfs Podcast recently had a Dermatologist on their show as a guest. As I listened to the show, I got concerned about a spot on my chest. I called and scheduled an appointment at my Dr’s office. When he had me remove my shirt he saw the spot and said, “I don’t like that”. He sent me to a dermatologist for a biopsy. I got the results back yesterday. I have squamous cell carcinoma cancer. They are gonna remove it next Tuesday. I’m asking all friend and family to remember me in prayer.
