We’re just finishing up one of our first public GC projects which was for the Hancock County Health Department in New Cumberland, WV.

We built a 30x28x12 stick-frame, two-car garage with a breezeway connecting it to the Health Department. The building includes two 10x10 garage doors, one man door, a 200-amp electrical service, and a water line connection for future use. We also installed roughly 120 feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalks, a 30x30 parking pad, and Gravel Dumpster pad.

Now we’re just waiting for the grass to grow back and the trees to bloom.

We’re proud of how this project turned out and grateful for the opportunity.

Short week this week, but we still got a lot accomplished! Here are a few projects we completed, including a small pool deck extension, installing a regulation-size basketball hoop, starting a porch roof extension, and installing a charcoal gray metal roof.

A few projects we finished last week. One was a black metal roof on a nice ranch home with an attached and detached garage. It featured textured black metal along with the addition of five pergola mounts. The next project was a 24x16 open-air carport with cedar soffit and fascia, along with a textured metal roof. The concrete was existing.

✅ Experience with asphalt shingle roofing
✅ Experience with exposed-fastener metal roofing systems
✅ Ability to lead a crew and maintain quality workmanship
✅ Dependable, motivated, and able to keep projects on schedule
✅ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Work Schedule:
🕢 Normal hours are 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
💰 Overtime is common, with workweeks often reaching up to 50 hours

Last week, we completed an 18x8 deck with an ADA-compliant treated ramp, along with a very basic porch roof finished with rolled roofing material and PVC fascia. Another project we finished that week was a simple shingled porch roof over an existing deck.
