My grandfather was diagnosed with parkinson’s disease the year I was born and while I do not remember it taking it’s toll until I was much older, I do remember following him around his wood shop as a little boy fascinated with his tools and the projects he would be working on. Unfortunately, his Parkinson’s got to the point where he could no longer work on his projects and everything was put on pause. As I advanced through middle school and high school taking multiple shop classes and making furniture, my grandfather would send me home with some of his tools. It was his table saw and his band saw that got me started on my shop. While I have upgraded to a table saw that meets my needs today, I still have multiple of his tools which helps me to remember the legacy that he has passed on. One of hard work and innovation, but also one of gentleness and care.
Now with eight years of experience in custom renovations and furniture, NTG Customs, seeks to carry on that same legacy through being transparent in our communications, honest in our work, and sustainable in our practice. We would love to walk through the process of helping your home be one that you can look on with joy knowing that not only does it look good, but also knowing that it is good for you.
