๐๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐พ๐๐๐ข๐ฃ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฉ๐จ!!! They are here every year and each year they bring more friends. They are called Chimney Swifts because they can't perch themselves on branches like other birds do. They rely on chimneys and similar structures for nesting. Anderson's Chimney & Masonry is doing our part to help these federally protected birds.
Though we love having them here each year, we know most homeowners are not too happy to have them taking up residency in their chimney. Since chimney swifts are federally protected birds, they can not be removed. Good news is they will leave on their own after their babies are born. Once that happens, you should have a proper sized chimney cap installed so they don't return next season.
