Matthew. A. Noethiger. The M.A.N. behind the mill.

I’ve been milling logs for 10 years and woodworking a lot longer than that. I started with my uncle in his garage when I was young making small projects and took an interest in lumber immediately.

I love the whole process, from breaking down raw logs to seeing what they can become. Taking rough-cut boards, joining and planing them down, and uncovering the character hidden inside the wood is what it’s all about. No two logs are the same, and that’s the best part. It is exciting to transform what someone might see as firewood into a one-of-a-kind piece.
