A very challanging crossing of RWA's 1900 Era 36" Cast Iron Transmision Water Main Yale Campus Trumbull St area sewer seperation projectNew Haven CT for GNHWPCA. A tight intersection in the heart of New Haven plauged with utilites in heavy traffic with limited working hours. Resulted in no other option but to go trenchless. Working with Hemlock Directional Drilling of Torrington CT applying hand mined pie jacking of a steel sleeve. After sleeve was complete we installed 18" DIP storm drain. Sheeting install by vaccum excavation to not create vibration. SOE design by GZA/ Siefert Associates . A successful field change to the 17 Mill project

Potomac River Sewer Interceptor recent collapse may turn out to me the worst in Americas history. Let hope our politicians will allocate mor funding for critical infrastructure as we are plauged with failures of major drinking water and sewer line failures

Norwalk CT. Dispite ruff weather condtions we are moving forward at a steady pace. Installing a 24" PVC sewer directly next to the existing 15" clay pipe sewer. Some day are like brain surgery 17' deep ho-ramming out rock with out disturbance to the existing sewer then bury steel plates over trench box pave and open the road. All in a days work
