Homestead Structures was founded in 2003 as a way to supplement our family’s dairy farm and serve the local community. What started as a small side project quickly grew as we recognized the demand for high-quality, beautifully designed sheds, pool houses, garages, and other custom structures throughout Central Pennsylvania and beyond. Today, our team includes more than 20 skilled builders, installers, and operations specialists, and our handcrafted structures can be found all along the East Coast—and even in select locations across the country.

🔨 Field Crew Friday: Modern Pavilion

Our crew is wrapping up this 15' x 24' modern pavilion, designed as the centerpiece of a backyard built for entertaining.

The design pairs clean, minimalist lines with natural stone and includes:
✔️ Linear gas fireplace in a floor-to-ceiling feature wall
✔️ Full outdoor kitchen with built-in grill, griddle station, and refrigerator
✔️ Recessed ceiling heaters to extend the season into fall
✔️ Custom privacy lattice wall for shade and seclusion
✔️ Stone veneer walls and a full stone pillar

23 years ago, we built our first shed in a 40' × 80' farm shop on our family dairy farm. 🐄🔨
What started as a way to help pay the farm mortgage grew into something we never imagined — pool houses, pavilions, garages, fully finished interiors, Park Models, and ADUs, built for families across the East Coast.
2003 → 2026. One shed became a legacy of outdoor living.

Fall in Pennsylvania means warm afternoons… and the occasional passing shower. ☀️🌧️
This 17×21 custom attached pavilion in Phoenixville, PA keeps the back porch in use when the weather changes. It gives you shade on bright days and stays dry during a light rain, so the TV, the comfy chairs, and the conversation can continue.
Built right off the house, it turns the backyard into a real outdoor living room: a vaulted gable with a stained ceiling, clean white columns, and an easy step out to the pool.
