Immediate Opening for Landfill Technician
On the job training, experience preferred but not required as this is a somewhat specialized field.
Looking for outgoing/positive individuals interested in learning new skills. Having some mechanical aptitude is very helpful. Work is outside and will initially include, but not be limited to:
-Pulling pumps from wells, evaluate if they are working, cleaning and replacing;
-Visual inspection of landfill cover and surrounding conditions;
-Assisting with HDPE pipe repair;
-Inspection of surficial runoff after rain events;
-Trimming and cutting of brush/small tree saplings on cover and along trails;

With some training over time:
-Assist with groundwater sample collection;
-Assist with methane gas collection system O&M

Fulltime 40hrs+ per week

Requires valid drivers license
Candidates will be required to participate in a Pre-Employment Physical & Drug/Alcohol screening (DOT)

On the job training, no experience required.
Looking for outgoing/positive individuals interested in learning new skills. Work involves unique skill set for which training will be provided as well as general construction labor type work, travel to and from job-site daily in company vehicles. Work is both outside and inside all year round. Some travel but is company paid.
-Collection of soil & groundwater samples
-Installation of groundwater monitoring wells
-Injection of chemicals below ground surface for soil cleanup purposes
-Installation of radon & v***r recovery systems inside commercial buildings
-Full-time 40hrs+
-Benefits pkg.: 401K w/ matching, vacation pay, holiday pay, medical & dental plan.
-Requires valid drivers license and OK with some traveling (company paid).
-Ideally starts around $21/hr but pay is negotiable/based on experience
