If your garage door is dented, rusty, loud, weather-beaten, or outdated, submit a photo for a chance to win free standard installation labor with purchase of a qualifying new garage door.

Noisy door? Check these 4 things before you call us 🔧

Not every noise is a service call. A few common ones you can handle yourself in five minutes — and the rest, we'll happily come out for.

🤫 SQUEAKING — Hinges, rollers, spring. Silicone or white lithium grease. Never WD-40 (it strips what's there). Five minutes.

🔩 RATTLING — Vibration loosens hardware. Run a socket wrench over visible hinge and track bolts. Snug, don't crank. SKIP the bottom bracket — it's under spring tension.

⚙️ CLICKING FROM THE OPENER — Pop the opener cover. Stripped plastic gear? That's it. Replacement is cheap. Call us before tackling the spring-loaded carriage assembly.

🥶 ONLY NOISY IN THE COLD — Steel contracts in cold weather. Squeaks and pops that disappear by noon are usually seasonal — not a problem to fix.

Does your garage door actually need to be insulated? 🧊

Real answer: sometimes yes, sometimes no. Most homeowners are sold the upgrade by default. We'd rather tell you when it's worth it and when it isn't.

🏠 ATTACHED GARAGE, SHARED WALL — Yes. Heat your bonus room loses through that wall in January is real money. R-12 minimum. Worth it.

🚗 DETACHED, STORAGE ONLY — Probably not. Insulating a garage you visit twice a day doesn't move your heating bill. Save the upgrade cost.

🏋️ WORKSHOP OR HOME GYM — Yes, and consider a heated zone. If you're out there year-round, the door needs to hold the warm air in.

🎶 NOISE BUFFER — Maybe. Insulated doors are noticeably quieter (both ways). If your bedroom is over the garage, this alone is worth it.

If you're not sure which case is yours, we'll tell you straight on the driveway. If it's not worth it, we won't sell it.

Most homeowners think a new garage door means a week of mess. It's one morning. Here's how it actually plays out, hour by hour.

🛠️ 10:00 AM — Old door is out. Demo is the fast part. New tracks measured, leveled, mounted before the new door even reaches the opening.

✅ 12:00 PM — New panels in. Opener programmed. Balance tested. Hardware tuned. Driveway swept clean. Homeowner walks the door with the lead tech before we leave.
