I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to the friends and families of the victims in todays tragic accident.
Through this tragic event, I would like to recognize two of Springfield Townships finest. They both put themselves in harm's way trying to rescue one of the victims.
Without hesitation, both officers pulled the victim from her car, as the engine compartments were engulfed in flames pulling her to safety so paramedics could try to help her. It is the selfless acts of these police officers that make me a proud member of our community.
