4 REMODELING TIPS:

1.) The number one way to decrease the cost of your remodeling project is product choices. Look around to determine whether you can achieve a similar look with a less expensive product.
2.) In addition, pay attention to how labor intensive some design features may be, for example laying ceramic tile on kitchen countertops and the backsplash.
3.) Compare products and their prices carefully before you make final decisions. And keep an open mind when you discuss product and design ideas with your contractor.
4.) Make decisions based on value and quality, not just price.

We took what used to be a smaller dwelling and expanded it, adding value!

1.) Going from a double by opening it up into one large residence. There used to be 2 separate doors leading into 2 separate homes. Now, one home showcases elegant double doors
2.) What once was just a floored attic, now a staircase has been added to access a 2nd level.
3/4.) The additional space, creating a master bedroom, with views of the city of New Orleans, master bath and closet
5.) Tear-out exposing the soaring ceilings
