Got a call today and the owner said that the breaker controlling her bedroom would trip from time to time. After tracing circuit we were able to find several staples hammered so tight it was causing the wire to burn. PSA to all helpers : WHEN STAPLING ROMEX THE STAPLE SHOULD NEVER TOUCH THE WIRE. HAMMER THE STAPLE TILL ABOUT 1/8 INCH AWAY FROM THE OUTSIDE INSULATION TO AVOID THIS. IF WIRE HANGS THEN PUT ANOTHER STAPLE. DONT BE LAZY BRO. Needless to say we got her fixed up. On to the next one.
