Restoration to the facade of our house is finally complete. A careless renovation in the 80’s resulted in losing all of the original front windows/ transoms/ shutters. Also gone was the pressed glass on the right side doors. I had new windows milled by Cavanaugh over at Strip-ease and at Lizano’s glass house cut and labeled each piece of stained glass selected by All sash weights were found in the wall and now both front sashes top and bottom are operable. Concrete steps were removed with new brick on the left and the garden extended to the right. Thanks to for shutter color selection.

Stunning kitchen and laundry renovation on Broadway by the park. I have been doing projects in this house since 2012! Laid and refinished salvaged pine floors throughout the first floor, opened up cased opening between kitchen and dining rooms. Painted the entire first floor. Cabinets by and stone by provided appliances and helped with the hearth tile selections.

We can’t take credit for the install and I may have told it couldn’t be done but we did the sanding and poly on her salvaged Bargeboard floors and they are nothing short of amazing. The floors in the front are the old wall frame Bargeboard while the rear bedrooms are salvaged ceiling boards. The new ceiling is the salvaged pine siding. Hats off to Neely on this one.

Philip St., Garden District. Hurricane Ida ripped down the iron detail along the front roofline. We removed the entire rail and fabricated matching panels to replace the broken/ missing ones. We also had to come up with some creative metal work to waterproof the small parapet wall into which the railing mounted. Big thanks to Irish Channel Ironworks and Orleans Sheetmetal for their contributions. This house is fabulous and the railing above sets it apart. Not to mention the family is an absolute pleasure to work with!

More of beautiful Rosa Park. I consider myself pretty lucky to have been a part of this one. The scope was broad and all of the work was done with the owners residing onsite. We somehow managed to get it done and remain on speaking terms. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
