Here's a question worth asking at your next facilities meeting: what roofing system is actually on our building?

More often than not, the answer is a blank stare. That's not a knock on anyone. The roof is the one major building system nobody thinks about until water is coming through the ceiling tiles.

But that blank stare is the problem. You can't budget for a roof you can't name. You can't defend an insurance claim on a system with no documentation. And you can't make a smart repair-versus-replace decision without knowing what you're working with.

For us, it means the recommendation we give you is the one we'd want for our own building, even when a smaller job is the honest answer. It means our crews look out for each other in brutal heat.
