Today marks an important milestone for BFD. Not only have we been in business for 52 years but Becca has been with us officially for 15 years today. Even though she has moved on from full time management, she still supports our business through her roll with ADS Agriculture.
Becca started working with Darrell around the age of 10. She helped set flags and grid survey a field by laser. Darrell started teaching her about design and the importance of math and education at a young age. While in the final semester of undergrad and pursuing her life long dream of becoming an attorney, Darrell called her in to work for the family business. Reluctantly at the time, Becca agreed to help and dove into all the latest technologies with the help of Trimble and Schlatter's Inc. She found a new love for farm drainage and built on all of that with Darrell. All of this while raising her young son Christopher, coaching sports, managing our rental properties, supporting her local town, belonging to the town board, and volunteering. Most of her days were scheduled from before the sun came up until after it went down. Becca still to this day is the best operator BFD has ever had. Darrell would place a bet against just about anyone trying to beat her in digging starts, except for himself of course. 😆 Please help us by congratulating Rebecca on a job well done and wishing her the best at ADS and truly anything she puts her mind to! Rebecca will continue to set above the stars! We will always love you here at BFD!
