Well it was bound to happen eventually. My massive storage drive for my channel stopped responding. Spending more than I want to admit to a data recovery company was a waste of time. They tell me the head apparently skipped and damaged the drum. No possibility of recovery. I had planned on getting a backup drive to have for pictures and videos but with the sudden buildup of the data centers, drives have gone totally insane in cost. I had planned on it but the budget hadn't freed itself enough to actually do it. 3 years of raw video plus a dozen edited videos that I hadn't gotten posted because I hadn't gotten them posted. The pain is real I will tell you. Some of them were pretty awesome. Many of them were one time opportunities that I can't just reshoot. It will be a while before I can get some more cool stuff on the new drive. It will be a bit longer to go through the editing process but I will keep going. We have 2 coming up that were filmed after the drive died and are on the new drive waiting to be edited down to useable size.
