As I sit here thinking and planning this weeks schedule and making sure I have all the materials to do the jobs at hand I came across this picture. I have seen a lot of crazy stuff over the years but I think back to one of the first jobs I did was for an older couple and the sink was full not because they didn’t do them but because they had no hot water. So I fixed the water heater then as we talked to wait on the hot water to get hot I said to myself that I was going to do those dishes. So I ran a sink full of hot water and started in. When they came out to see if the water was hot they saw I had done the dishes for them. Sometimes it’s just the small things. Just remember that the client might be having a hard day when your on that service call so anything you can do to make life normal helps.
