Fleet Manager
ARR Construction is seeking a full-time Fleet Manager to join our team.
• The Fleet Manager will be responsible for coordinating all the
daily workflow of the shop while working closely with the shop
mechanics to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• This leadership role combines diagnosing, repairing and
maintaining diesel trucks, trailers and heavy machinery with
overseeing daily shop operations.
• Understands and adheres to DOT, OSHA, IFTA and FMCSA
regulations
• Prioritize repair requests based on operational needs,
coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and
troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems to
ensure repairs are completed with a high standard of
workmanship and safety.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for any breakdowns
• Communicate with vendors for pricing, order tracking, returns
and warranties.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting
Requirements
• Exceptional knowledge of truck and equipment maintenance
• Commercial vehicle inspection certification (DOT) or willing to
obtain
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and CDL
