This past month, we celebrated the retirements of two incredible men: Steve “Qball,” our Superintendent of 44 years, and Pat, our Foreman/Operator of 31 years 🎉

Together, that’s 75 years of early mornings, hard hats, tough weather, and bridges built to last. They helped build the bridges our communities drive over every single day, often without anyone realizing the skill and hard work behind them.

Steve and Pat aren’t just employees who showed up year after year. They’re the kind of people who trained the next generation, solved problems no manual could, and helped make this company what it is today.

Steve and Pat, thank you for everything you’ve built, both literally and figuratively. Enjoy your next chapter. You’ve more than earned it!

Last deck pour for Steve after 44 years with us! There was a lot of hard work from everyone to make this happen before he retires next Friday.

Over the course of his career, Steve has been part of approximately 488 bridge projects, along with more than a hundred other types of jobs. That’s an incredible accomplishment and a testament to his dedication over the years.

Thank you, Steve, for your 44 years of hard work and commitment. Wishing you all the best in retirement!
