I hope all of you enjoyed the 4th of July! This spring and summer have had its challenges with consistently getting out in the field with so much rain. I'm thankful, though, that we've not been dealt the flooding like NW Iowa has seen. I've almost caught up on my backlog of work and I appreciate all the patience that my customers have given me! I did take some video from the most recent job; turned an overgrown field into 22 tillable acres! We've got a long season ahead and plenty of openings available in the future.

The weather has not been super cooperative this spring thus far, although I'm grateful for only having to deal with excessive rainfall unlike towns nearby. Jobs are lined up just waiting for a dry period and I thank those individuals for being patient. Meanwhile, with all of the rain, I've had to try and fix overflowing ponds/dams at home. The work never ends on a farm, but in all honesty; I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I've been behind on posting updates and pictures due to being super busy with the relatively nice and dry weather. Below is from a recent job doing some dirt work and helping to install a new retaining wall for walk-in basement door. The homeowner rented the mini-excavator and allowed me to run it for the precarious work. 👍😎
